SAPA Project (Optional)
If you are interested in a personality test that is ongoing, free and run by faculty at an academic institution, take a look and consider participating the SAPA Project part of the Personality Project1. They also share their de-identified data if you are interested.
Revise and Resubmit
There are three items needed to complete the final task
Elevator Pitch. Create a 1 minute (+/- 10 seconds) elevator pitch introducing yourself, describing the evaluation, research, or project that your instrument would be used for, and its significance2. This must be a video of you talking without any additional materials. If you use a third-party service (e.g. YouTube), please provide the link. For more information on elevator pitches, head over to the Creating an Elevator Pitch on the Resources page.
Supplement. In a one to two page double spaced 12 point narrative (~ 300 word count), describe your study and its significance, the proposed instrument, why it is needed, and the results of your validity and reliability testing. Describe any limitations that your instrument many have (e.g. methodology, sampling, structure, etc.) Consider this as a supplement of your elevator pitch where you can provide some detail on what was said.
Instrument. Fill in the five column table shown below. Be sure to use the factor analysis you conducted last week to denote or amend your grouping variables. Please remember to interpret them as categories.
